I can't pick a favourite feature, as I have a few. The overall look of the room is extremely modern and fresh looking. The wood has the most wonderful colours when the sun is out, and the automatic lighting system in the small 'porch' roof makes it look so beautiful at night. The service provided by Jason himself was top-notch too. Worked hard, got the job done, and kept me informed of developments as and when needed. 

I'd definitely recommend Robertson Garden Rooms. Jason didn't rush, took his time and made sure the finished product was as good as the ones on his website. When spending this sort of money on a garden office, I know people who have gone cheap and regretted it almost immediately. Friends and family couldn't hide their surprise when they finally saw it finished. When you tell people you are getting an office built in your garden, often they imagine a sort of converted garden shed. My office room is far from that! It feels like a modern Swedish cabin, the sort you see on Grand Designs. Couldn't be happier with the results. He came highly recommended by our friends Helen and David (visit Case study 1).They only hire in top trades for their projects so we knew we were in good hands. "Some of our concerns were around the time of the build and Jason having access to the house for drinks and bathroom breaks. We obviously wouldn’t have been able to take 6 weeks off work to be there all the time. There are so many things we like about the room. I guess one of the things we have found since, is that the room is well insulated and warm with a minimal heating requirement even in snowy weather. It really is like being in another room of the house, not in an external wooden building! It is also almost soundproof which is great when using as an office. The best part of the service as well for us was the ability to be able to help design what it will look like and have it bespoke to us. Both the shape, fixtures/fittings, electrics - everything was able to be altered or discussed to our requirements. This has made it perfect for us."

My favourite part of the build is of course the cedar cladding. It brings a very modern luxurious feel to the room which was the best piece of advice you gave us. You kept us informed at every stage of the build and nothing was too much for you even when we decided to have the coloured LED lighting put in, you were happy to do it. 

Jason listened to what we wanted, showed us similar jobs he had completed in the past. Jason was enthusiastic and made me and my wife feel assured that he was the man for the job. He didn’t let us down!

When Jason built the bar we had dreamed of having, we have to say we were extremely impressed. Jason provided an excellent service throughout. He spoke and updated us throughout. We also liked the ideas that Jason would put forward all of them valid and only to make the best of the garden room. We really can’t fault the service.

To our friends we would start by saying ‘The best room of our house is outside our house’ we would then tell them that Jason is a grafter and doesn’t let the quality of his work slip at any point. You will be updated throughout, payments made in stages throughout the work being completed. Jason is polite and friendly he always had time to speak to our two young boys who were excited in seeing Daddy’s Mancave being built. We would say to our friends it’s a no brainer hire Jason.

Finally, we would like to say, getting to know Jason throughout the build was a pleasure, we would regularly put the world to rights over a quick brew. Jason is welcome to have a beer in the bar (that he built) anytime. "​

Jason didn’t just turn our idea into reality, he exceeded our idea. We absolutely love our pool bar and are in there so much, insulated perfectly so we can use it all through the winter. Looking forward to having the bifold doors open in the summer though and so grateful Jason has put a bathroom out there, no more wet carpets from people getting out the pool and going in the house for the toilet!

"The first major concern when hiring someone for a job, to be honest, is the quality of the work. The cedar cladding looks amazing - jaw-droppingly good. The photos on the website look great as do photos that we have taken ourselves, however, none of them do the Garden Room justice of how it looks in real life. The inside is finished perfectly too, and I can’t wait to use it in the summer when it will get most use.

We hadn’t seen any of your work in person and photos on a website can be photoshopped or even stolen from another site.
